I know you are South too and the two of you could get in a big scrap. I had to laugh, my FIL lives in same house and when the package came, he opened it, put the quilt on his bed and then proceeded to tell Donna what a fine quilt I had made for HIM. He is such a kidder. Anyway, when he finally told her it was for her she screamed. I love it when you are appreciated. I asked the FIL what kind he wants, and he said not to take the precious time to make one, but he does love red white and blue. LOL

Wow! You have been busy.

You have been VERY busy... The quilts are beautiful but that rose quilt would be more than a year's work for me!

Quilting the rose quilt FMQ took longer than I thought, but with those blocks, they have the lines already printed on the main quilt. I did quilt roses in between the preprinted areas and that was my first fancy FMQ that I had ever done. Thank you for the compliments. Trying to get my unused stash and my UFOs done.

When I went to Church on Easter, there the banner was hanging right up front. It was such a proud moment to see it like that. I made it in memory of my daughter, Jessica, my dad, Millage, and my DH stepdad, George. It was like they were all there with me. I am so glad I got to share this with you since nobody I know here, would understand.
