NO CURVES!!! I make yoyos and sew them to a background. The only Curves is sewing the circles down. Not hard at all!!!!! I sew them on with my machine by topstitching!!

check out the method!! http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-63180-1.htm

This is the only curve sewing and it is so easy to do.

Oh yes I was one of those that say curves and said "no way" until I did Rhonda's Drunkard path. I amazed myself. Now I'm not scared of those curves, actually find them relaxing. I'll never worry about a curve again.

That one just looks like 4 lanterns to me with butterflies flying around them. Hence the name.

Definitely agree. Hard to choose which one is my favorite; they are all so pretty.

Very nice hard to pick a favorite.

BarbZ 10-01-2011 04:01 PM

LOVE THAT PATTERN!!!!THE MAROONY/PINK AND GOLD CENTERS IS MY FAVORITE.

Rhonda 10-01-2011 04:16 PM

The Ruby Rose pattern includes all 4 quilts. Once you learn to make the Blocks then you can use the quilt block to make any of the 4 quilts. It is only a matter of changing the colors around. They are all 4 the same quilt just colors are differant.

Shirlrh 10-01-2011 04:53 PM

Very pretty!

This pattern is beautiful in all designs that you did. My problem would be the curves. They don't like me!!

Nancy go back and look at the picture I posted on pg 3. I make flat yoyos and sew them on a background. Then you cut them into 4 and trim the blocks to the right size. Easy!
