Hooray for Natalie (and you too!). What fun to spend time together making great little projects. She'll remember this time forever!

It's great to have a helper! I did notice that you have a Singer Confidence SM. Does your needle threaded work? Mine did at first, then it wouldn't thread. I re- bent the prong, now it won't thread again. It's a great machine for me, love the different stitches. I do feel intimidated though when I hear allof my friends talk about their "high end" machines. But I do ave a FW!!!!!

I let my grandchildren quilt with me also. Helps that I have lucked out and both my daughters quilt as do both my daughters in law. Richelle and Josie sat on out knees from day one, just about, and have sewen with us. Even the boys sew. We were given an old machine and my hubby fixed it up and we gave it to our 8 year old grandson here a couple weeks ago and he just loves it. Because now he don't have to use moms machine. I get the girls for a week or so here real soon so we will be working on finishing off their entries for the fall fair in August. Deneen will work with Nolan on his. I know for sure the three oldest of the younger group are making entries. Don't know about the others yet.
This little four year old that made the quilt is fantastic. Keep encouraging her grandma. Aren't they the greatest! I am so lucky to have all 9 of ours here.
Our oldest grandson is 17 and he dropped in on his way home from work. His summer job. So proud of that boy. One more year of school and then onto college. Still not to old to give grandma a hug whenever he comes over.
