Noticed you bought the Dble Diamond Rulers. Did yo get to watch a demostration??? Saw a picture on another post. Looks like I'm going to have to buy one too. Glad you had a goodtime, jealous [lol] but happy for you.

Pam 04-25-2010 09:40 AM

I have to run hubby into town, but that double diamond ruler is coming out of the package as soon as I get home! I do lots of 3-D stuff on my quilts, that one will get lots of use.

WOO HOO

What are the small little packages of fabric on top the cut fabric ? They look so tiny  What size are they ? Is that something new ?

Looks like you had a GREAT time

ann clare 04-25-2010 11:24 AM

LUCKY YOU!! What a great assortment of nice sewing things, you were able to get!! :D I did't happen to see the apron. Did you post a picture of it? Enjoy everything!!
:D :D :D :D

quiltluvr 04-25-2010 12:22 PM

My best friend went, who doesn't sew, (I KNOW, proof again that there is something definitely wrong with her....LOL) and she bought a bunch of stuff for me. When I get I'll have to post pics.

Love the blues/teals.

Pam 04-25-2010 12:45 PM

The apron is the tea towel in the lower left corner, with my first prairie points, I might add. The small packages of fabric are 5" charm packs. The rest of the yardage is one yard pieces. I got cone thread for my short arm machine and 10 books!

sharon b 04-25-2010 12:48 PM

Ok .. they just looked so small from the pics

stitchinwitch 04-25-2010 01:26 PM

amma 04-25-2010 05:24 PM

oldswimmer 04-25-2010 05:27 PM

You will like the dot to dot quilting.... I am practicing with that one. Seems to really work for me so far. Great stuff! Have fun!

Poodles 04-26-2010 04:46 PM

I am just learning too quilt and I went too the Paducah show but didn't get too see too much in the booths for sale because I could not get close with my scooter and didn't want too stop in front of the booths too ask questions for fear of holding people back from getting through. Next year I am gonna try too make this a 3 day trip instead of a one day. Lots of stuff I need too make quilts but have too get a little at a time. Material and thread is what I have too get next time I have extra money which will be about a couple months from now. That Paducah show was awesome.

ScrapQuilter 04-26-2010 04:56 PM

Looks like you will be busy for awhile.
Looking forward to seeing great things.

annette1952 04-27-2010 06:53 PM

Carol Carter 04-28-2010 07:56 AM

Fun stuff.

RedGarnet222 04-28-2010 07:59 AM

Oh wow!! I love your new books. I read mine all the time, it makes such a difference to have information right there to study. I noticed you bought quilting design books too. It looks like you are going to be busy!

knlsmith 04-28-2010 08:12 AM

ooooo aaawwww oooohhhhhh

Poodles 04-28-2010 08:30 AM

Every book I find is too expensive for me. If I live another couple of years, I will be in better shape financially and get some books and stuff too learn my quilting habit that I have acquired. I get really frustrated because I don't know a lot of things. But memories when I was a child has always been in my mind that I wanted too quilt too!. I am so scared of messing up material.

Poodles, there are TONS of books at the library, even MORE free patterns on the internet. I always tell people to use their $$ for fabric.

Sheree from Chicago 04-28-2010 03:11 PM

Lots of goodies! Thanks for sharing.

Poodles 04-28-2010 05:11 PM

Pam now I am not stupid but I feel that way sometimes as I have some free patterns but they just seem like greek too me. Isn't there a certain way you have too lay your material before you start cutting it? what do I do if the material has been folded at the store and I can't get the edges too match? See I told you, I don't know how too get started. I rarely leave this house as there is too much work and my health is not that good so most of the time I stay right here except too go too the doctor. But I finally got too go too the Paducah show and I aim for my daughter too take me back too Paducah and go through all the little quilt shops before too long.

littlehud 04-30-2010 09:37 AM
