MsSage 01-08-2009 05:34 PM

I love the blue & greeens you got
    Hahahaha me "green" with envy
Oh well after I get better and working full time again I am going to treat myself to some fabric

sewsewquilter 01-08-2009 06:31 PM

I like the blues & greens a lot too. I forgot to post the fabric that I was shopping for. All I needed was a light blue for a lap quilt that I am making my mom. I run back to my room with it as soon as I opened the box to see if it would go with the fabrics I already had for the lap quilt. It DID! Woohoo. I'm the lucky girl. :D

Looks like fun fabrics to play with!!!

Nice fabric Sewandsew! May I ask what pattern that is in your avatar? It's so attractive and I wonder about it.

sewsewquilter 01-08-2009 08:11 PM

It is a bullseye with the blocks cut into quarters and rearranged. It also is a rag quilt. Below is the thread from when I posted it.

Thankyou sewsewquilter. Sorry I got your name wrong before. Is it in a book or a pattern? Would love to try it.

SulaBug 01-08-2009 11:43 PM

Your quilt is beautiful & looks to be very interesting to try. I just love all of the colors.

Some of the balik I bought will be used in making another one of those quilts. That is what I used in the quilt I posted one. Plus I want to do the free form free motion again. That was fun, making up as I went.

I'll email the person I took the class from and ask her if it would be ok to post the instructions.

Did you ever follow up on this. I would love to know how to do this. I am just in love with this quilt. It is so cheery and bright and lifts my spirits. I have seen bulls-eye quilts before but never the raggy-edged ones. I would be forever grateful for instructions. Thanks. Dixie in Alabama.

What a dear DH is. He is a keeper. Love the fabric. You can never have enough fabric.

Wow nice choices on your fabric! Looks very artsy to me. I love that your hubby had a smile when he handed it to you. What a nice guy!
