Hocus Pocus, by The Pattern Basket

I actually had a Layer Cake that the designer used with her pattern so I was super stoked to make this cute quilt. I used a Layer Cake (except the neutrals…I preferred white); and 3 1/2 yards of background fabric, 1 Black FQ (for stars on quilt, and 3 10” squares of green and made all this. The 18” pillow scarecrow is a block from Holt’s Vintage Farm Girl II book (so many cute blocks in that book). My table runner is 66” long…I have a 8 ft farm table. I have a vast inventory of striped fabrics specifically for binding so I have plenty to finish off the binding for the quilt. I have about eight 2 1/2” squares of scraps and seven 10” neutrals left from this Layer Cake. Feeling good!

Wow, love these. The striped binding adds just the right touch to finish them off, well done and Good job using up that layer cake and yardage!
