Amazing! Wonder where i coud find a panel? Hy boys would love them.

This panel came from the "Alpine" fabrics from Wilmington Prints. Looks like Hancocks of Paducah may still have it, and Fabric.com also.

You have taken a panel to a whole other level of quilting! I really love the way you made the trees. Were the trees actually printed on the gray background fabric or did you craft them strictly with your quilting? What a great technique if so.

Your lovely wallhanging panel goes from the common to the sublime because of all the techniques you used to create a work of art. All of the quilting and embellishments you used are perfect. It should encourage all of us to look beyond the obvious (panels) and make them real works of art. Great job and enjoy the accolades of the season as family and friends share your season decor.

Yes, they were printed on the panel ... I just added the occasional horizontal "v" to make it look like bark

Oh wow Cat, this is just spectacular. I love everything you did and am so jealous you have the ability to couch with yarn on your LA just using a special foot. Mine requires a super expensive attachment to make the machine do a true couch (a zig zag stitch over the yarn). I read the article in MQU several months ago about couching with LA and she had an HQ and the bowl shaped foot. The same type foot for the innova doesn't work right, unless I used a super fat yarn. anyway you did a fabulous job. I especially like how you did the trees in the background.
