I am back in North Carolina this week moving my parents into assisted living. Yesterday my mother instructed me to get this box out for her ~ THIS was in it. She has been working on this quilt for years and just finished it. She wanted to send it to her niece in Boston for her birthday.

It is all hand pieced and hand quilted. I was clearing out photo albums last night and found pictures of her piecing it about 6 years ago!!!

Now I'm jealous of my cousin!

By the way, Mom turned 87 last week!

Oh my goodness!!! I would LOVE to have this quilt. I would just love to have a quilt from my mom. Your blessed, my mom passed away 22 years ago. This quilt is absolutely stunning.
