I'm back from our Texas trip and no offense to texans, but you can keep your crazy traffic. Everyone loved their quilts-even the dog! I was holding the baby so DH took the picture of DDIL with hers. but here are my sweet little GS and the grnaddog with theirs. I made the bibs and took them with us, but goofed up something b/c they didn't fit! so I brought them home. I've fixed them, now just need to send them back.

It isn't the traffic, its the signs! Too little too late!

yeah, kinda like the GPS-turn right> and there are 400 cars in that lane! My son lives 23 miles from where he works. he said sometimes it takes him 2 1/2 hrs. YIKES!

butterflies5518 10-11-2011 12:10 PM

I live 7.5 miles and it can take me 1 1/2 hours! But I am glad sewmom was able to spend time with new grandbaby!

no way! I told DH that if I ever moved there, I'd have to give up driving!

They are so cute. Yea our traffic is awful. You could have taken some of it back with you and helped us out a little.

sewmom 10-11-2011 12:15 PM

It was so hard to leave! and not just b/c of the baby. I'm not ashamed to admit it-i cried. I do like to v isit down there and will take any opportunity to go. BTW, i did make a quick stop in Quilt Country, i've never seen so many batiks in one spot before. Sadly I didn't purchase any. Maybe next time.

your pictures just made my day - the baby is adorable and the quilt is just as cute. Thanks.

The baby is adorable. Traffic? What traffic? So used to it from working in Dallas for years that I don't even think about it.
