What is a sewing machine if not a power tool? It's a natural extention to use other power tools for our quilting adventures! You show great creativity and 'thinking outside the box' !!!

This design works well for a machine with a top-loading bobbin, so I'll have to re-think how to get around that without having to remove the table extension to change bobbins, but this is a much cheaper idea than the youtube video that uses foam board. I priced the foam board today and...WOW! At about $30 a sheet at Lowe's for a 4 x 8 ft sheet, (and no, they won't sell you a half sheet), it would cost as much, if not more than just ordering a ready-made table. Thanks for posting this!
