I think it looks wonderful, and yes we are always hardest on ourselves.

Nothing wrong with it - I think it is very nice.

She is paying me for this bag but how can I take money, I think it is horrible.

If she is travelling, she will want a bag that stands out from the rest and this lovely bag does this. She will be delighted with it. You should be very proud of it. You deserve the money for it. Remember it is her choice not yours.

Looks good to me. I think well done :)

You did a great job, and I'll bet she loves it!!! It looks very roomy, and that's what will be important for her trip. Yes, take the money. You made the bag.

It is really cute. Would like one my self.

You're getting paid for your professional sewing/quilting with her fabric choices. If you're not a blue lover, maybe that's what is throwing you off, but to me it's a great looking bag. I personally like warmer colors, but you worked with her choices. Don't cut your profit. You can use the money to buy yourself some fabric. Seems we're always our own worse critic. Have fun with your projects. You'll look back on this in a few weeks/months & it won't look as bad as you think it does now.

I didn't read what the bag was for until after I looked at the picture. I was thinking it was a purse or grocery tote and thought to myself, "Well, at least it would be a good diaper bag for someone." Then I read that it is supposed to be a diaper bag so I think you should definitely take the money and pat yourself on the back for a job well done!

The *only* thing I'm not seeing is a "pop". The blue fabric does brighten up the print that she chose, though. What if you sewed some red ribbon where the fabrics join? How hard would that be at this point?

I was thinking the coral/red piping in the vertical seams--since it's after the fact a matching coral/red ribbon would take it up a notch to "wow".
