Your DWRs are beautiful. I have been looking at/for patterns. There are so many out there. Do you mind sharing which pattern you used. Keep up the good work. Hope mine will turn out as nice as yours.

What a beautiful job you are doing on these! I've never done one because I am TERRIFIED of this pattern! Being a Georgia Dawgs fan, I especially like the red and black one!
|
Amazing! You are obviously a master quilter. Enjoy your talent and thanks for sharing your gift with others. Your work is truly beautiful.

Gorgeous quilts. Wow, I am impressed !!!
|
Beautiful quilts!!!!! Are they paper pieced?

These were made with the Marti Michell DWR templates. I just followed her instructions. I have also used the John Flynn method. Advantage of the JF method is there are more ring sizes available. With the MM method, you are limited to a 17" ring size. Am about ready to try a strip pieced DWR called "Colorado Wedding." - you could check out the website www.pambonodesigns.com and see if it is there. I had downloaded it some time ago. When I get this one done (way in the future, I'll also post it)

Thanks for sharing the above information. I can add nothing that hasn't already been said. You have inspired many quilters here tonight to make a DWR quilt(s). Thank you for taking the time to post your pictures and love of the DWR. |
I looked at the Colorado Wedding quilt. That is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of ribbons. This is a new take on a very old pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Your quilts and pillows are gorgeous! I'm wanting to make a double wedding ring like the one I slept under as a teenager. I've started collecting fabrics that remind me of the ones in it. I think it had been made in the 20s or 30s and kept put away until we had it quilted in the early 60s.
