Some of my wall pieces. The tyvek is the stuff used for insulation around houses. You hold an iron above a piece and it will start to bubble as it melts. Keep the iron about an inch above the tyvek. Then paint with acrylic paint to make it look like rocks.
I taught the silhouette class at our state meeting a few years ago. Its cut like a snowflake then fused and stitched around. Thread flowers was a challenge quilt, we were to look for a greeting card and then interpret it in fabric. I thread painted the flowers after painting in with crayon.
