This is my new bed quilt - I love making these zig zag quilts - they are so easy using the 'no triangle method'..... I gave this one a pretty backing too. I wanted to share this quilt completed because it looks so much nicer then just the plain top. Thank you for looking!
The quilt passed Jack's inspection too ;-) Hope Valley Fabric Line with Kona Solids in between. The Back Inspection |
Beautiful!

It turned out very nice and truly is beautiful! Glad Jack likes it too--I am in good company.

Very pretty!!! Jack is claiming it :D:D:D

Thank you Charismah! I was going to make another with the Neptune Fabric I purchased from your store but instead I am making two quilts for my nephews with that fabric .. using Kona white. Have you seen the "Mixed Tape" pattern? I am using that. I am excited to start it but have no time before Christmas :-(
Hey my quilter uses the binding with flange method you posted about too! I just tried it on a small quilt and must say I will never hand stitch binding again. ;-) My quilter uses different size strips but I like the size you suggested better.

Very pretty! Nice work!

A very pretty quilt, I like the pattern and the colors that you chose for this one.
|
Beautiful quilt!! Love the back too! Nice job!

Thank you again everyone :-) Leah the pattern is so easy - you just sew strips and cut them into blocks and lay it out on point & sew into rows (if you want I can link the tutorial here)

Love your quilt. Looks like the quilt inspector is hard a work :-D

Here is the link. I just made mine bigger. The size she suggests makes a great lap quilt. I make them this size as gifts or donation quilts.
