hot pads
I am making hot pads. The question is, do I use two squares of in-sul bright, if I am going to use both sides? I know there are alot of smart quilters out there who could help me with this question. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me I have to have this made tonight. Thanks:)

I would say yes.... I did

I put in 2 layers and I have the silver stuff facing the top. I think someone told me that the silver is supposed to be next to the hot pot to reflect the heat up towards the pot? I ave no idea if it is true but it is the way I use it. Of course if the hot pad is reversible, it makes sense to put the silver facing the outside on both sides.
