I found this in my closet ! I made it over 25 years ago when I was making clothes for my kids. I had forgotten all about it.
All the appliques were made all from left over fabric.
As I look back on it now...I did a great job!!
I just did straight line quilting. And it's the ONLY quilt I did back then.
Question:
Should I put my label on the back, as I do now with all my sewing project? It's a pre-made label that says "Hand Made by Tracy Carney(with a cute litte spool of thread on it).
What about a date? Should I sew that onto the blanket?

Made in 1983 for my son

Sew the date on a label, or sew it right onto the quilt?
What about the pre-made labels that I have that have my name on them?

cute, cute

yes put a updated label on, but leave your old label there, too.

cute quilt, and yes , you should go ahead and do a label with the year it was made!!

Ohhh definitely label it!! How cool will it be to pass on to grandchildren some day! That my dear is a true heirloom in the making! You really did do an excellent job on it!

I was to a baby shower last year where the Grandma gave the new mom her son's (Dads) quilt and first pair of pajamas. Sew special!!!

Absolutely! Put the year you made it on there too, that way down the road family will know who made it and when it was made.

I have a handmade quilt that has no label on it and it is driving me nuts trying to figure out where it came from!

That is cute.Yeah, I think you should put on a label with the info.
