Thanks for posting these. I spent two days attending and saw many beautiful quilts!

OMG How gorgeous these are. I'm new to quilting and I can't imagine ever doing such work.

I went to the Atlanta Quilt show about 3 weeks ago and was just breathless seeing these quilts up close. They were sent in from Germany, Australia, Alaska, and other far away places. Someone here said there should be a different name for what these art quilts are and what we usually make. I agree. I think these are "Fine Art" quilts.

Unbelieveable how anyone can create something so intricate and gorgeous. I am as usual at awe at quilters' craftmanships and creativity. Thanks for sharing these inspiring quilts.

Beautiful quilts, I love the pictorial ones, I always wanted to make one but I know it wouldn't even come close to these! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful. I did not know you could do so many things with granny hexagons! And the pictorals are out of this world gorgeous. Makes me wish I could go.

Always sharing !
I enjoy the quilt shows because I can't go to them very often. So its my inspiration ! Love the last photo of the country scene(plaids for the barn roofs-excellent idea) and enlarged tulips at the bottom.

Happy Quilting !

That was one of my favorites too. So many inspiring quilts.

I went too. It was fantastic and the quilts were amazing. I really blew my budget with the vendors but got some great fabric and ideas. I have a question though. I bought a charm pack of flannel squares that are perfect for a quick baby quilt. But how do I wash them without them getting out of shape? I've never worked with charm squares before. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would not wash charm squares. Just make your quilt, then gently wash before gifting.

You really took great pictures! I took a bunch and then accidentally deleted almost all of them. I was so upset but your photos have really helped! Thank you so much for sharing them. I hope if you have more that you will post them also!
