Thank you for sharing those photos of those lovely quilts..have heard so much about the Houston Quilt Show so was nice to see at least a few quilts and they were amazing. A bit far for me to go there any time soon but maybe one day...

Kathy, how incredible! Every one of those quilts is a masterpiece. I've heard the Houston show is the best, and your photos sure prove it. Very inspiring! I do love the Hawaiian quilts so very much, knowing how much work goes into them. The optical illusion quilts and the bargello twists with all those perfectly matched pieces are on my dream list of someday projects. Thanks for sharing!

That much creative beauty in one place is enough to make you cry!! I'm speechless. Thank you for sharing all that talent with us. They were all works of art in their own right, but that red, white and blue one knocked my socks off!!! WOW!

Thanks so much for sharing, such awesome work, The first picture of the star, WOW, The way they used the color made it look puffy. They all are such beautiful work. If I had half their talent, I'd be a happy little quilter, I'd even settle for a 1/4 , I'm not picky, Thanks for your time, and your caring to send them to us all. What a feast for the eyes,Sheer eye candy.

those huge prize winners on the link that chunkymama gave us were there, I'll bet those people spent all the prize money taking the quilts around to all the shows!
I had lunch with a vender from Alaska who dyes quilt backs. That was very interesting since I'm trying my hand at it but I can't imagine doing 36 yds of 108" wide!

Wow! I am really sad I couldn't go, now that I have seen some pics! BOOOHOOO.

I wonder if anyone will make that 4th pic for our Quilt Challenge?
