I can't pick a color for the binding, I'm leaning towards lime green. I don't have any of the fabric I used left these were all pieces I had that were less than a fat quarter or cut in 2 inch strips

I think the lime green would look perfect! Cute quilt :)

A red might be cool. It could pull out the red of the monkey's hat.

A solid lime would work or the light color.
What color is the backing?

How about a stripe cut on the bias?

mtspools 03-17-2011 07:11 PM

yap lime green

jdiane318 03-17-2011 07:31 PM

Why don't you make a scrap binding of blue, green and red and really catch some attention.

happyscrappy 03-17-2011 07:32 PM

i vote for browns

mom2boys 03-17-2011 07:34 PM

The back is a strip with blues, greens, browns and yellow.

Lime green would look great. Very cute quilt.

alaskasunshine 03-17-2011 07:47 PM

I think red would be really cute on that adorable quilt!

JoAnnGC 03-17-2011 08:01 PM

I would go with red but any of the colors would work.

karenm36 03-17-2011 08:28 PM

My first choice would be red, lime green the 2nd choice. This is really cute!

tutty 03-17-2011 08:37 PM

Me like red too ! Always !! LOL

Kitsapquilter 03-17-2011 08:38 PM

You could choose about any color since there are so many colors in this fun quilt! Lime green, orange, or that turquoise color. Pick out your favorite!! Nice job on the quilt!

I love those prints and it's nice that you were able to use the scraps. You have lots of choices for your border.

Love the colors in your quilt. I think lime green would really make it pop.

I like this idea, but if you don't have enough material then just with the lime green.

pamesue 03-18-2011 04:21 AM

I vote for either yellow or lime green

PunkQuilter 03-18-2011 04:37 AM

Orange!!

diannemc 03-18-2011 04:41 AM

Well any color would be great! But I think red...

emerald46 03-18-2011 05:52 AM

Red would be my choice. There is just enough of it in the fabrics for a red binding to pull it forward.

MarthaT 03-18-2011 05:53 AM

I was thinking red too. I think one of the darker colors, like red, would put a nice frame around the quilt. Red is in the monkey, the focus of the quilt. Cute quilt!!!

Tartan 03-18-2011 07:06 AM

I think that lime green would be nice. If you have any 2 inch pieces long enough for binding, you could make them work also. The flange binding on the QB that you sew on the back and flip to the front, using pieces under 2 in width.
