Your quilt is very pretty!

Depending on the size of the leftover blocks, our guild uses them to make the ribbons for our quilt shows. Below are a few links to pictures that might give a general idea of what we do. We cover a used CD with batting, glue on the orphan quilt blocks, or glue on orphan crocheted motifs, attach a gathered ribbon made of matching fabric around the outside, cover the back with muslin, then we glue on a label that says the ribbon is from our guild. One of our members has an embroidery machine and does all the lettering for the Place for the hanging parts of the ribbons.

They are all very pretty and much-coveted ribbons. I was fortunate to win a few of them this past February at our local quilt show. :)

I read someplace--maybe on here--about a quilter who always makes one extra block and then at the end of the year she makes a sampler quilt and puts the year on her quilt label. I haven't done that, but I am making one now that has 9P alternating with hourglass squares and I'm using some of my leftover fabrics from other quilts in the 9P.
