what a wonderful way to use up all those scraps

Funny thing is I never liked scraps. Than one day I started a string quilt and after that I was hooked for sure, now I love to do different scrap quilts.

I did now know what a scrappy quilt till now. I like them. Had a lady from church get some fabric from me for a postage stamp quilt. It was a bunch of different ladies bring the squares.

Love the scrappy quilts. Can remember my Granny making those and we cousins would sit around and "spot" our dress, skirt or nightgown pieces. Both are pretty.

Like the tumbler block, but the postage stamp - it's pretty, but I would never have the patience to sew 2" squares.

It's a breeze, just use then as leaders and enders and before ya know it you have lots sewen together.

to be quilted. I love the tumbler pattern.

I like both of these quilts.

I make lots of scrappy quilts, but still had to give away 12 trash bags of scraps to complete our move to smaller quarters. Painful!!
