You are absolutely correct. Yesterday I visited a friend in the hospital, and it was very disturbing. So --------- I headed straight to the fabric shop for therapy.

It just occurred to me that this pattern would be great for a placemat too. Quick and cute. I love the fabrics you chose for these.


Or... if you ironed in pockets in the center of the top fabric (like deep pleats) before you sewed them together with the backing, you would have a really nice Christmas card hanger for the holidays. All you would need was a plastic ring sewn to the back top point to hang it.
