This quilt was fun to do! Kim knows how to make them nice and flat - a quilters dream. I knew she wanted the dog bones edge-to-edge. Then she threw me a curve. "Can you put a collar on that dog after you quilt?" She didn't know it, but I was stumped!! After quilting, I had it hanging in the studio. A friend stopped in and was oohing and ahing over the quilt, and I told her my dilemma. "Would it be ok if I put some bling on it?" "PERFECT!!!" she replied. I don't normally get a chance to add more than thread, and Kim's a good sport! Thanks for trusting me with your quilts, Kim!! |
