Beautiful! I made one of these blocks. One...I admire your stamina; this was a tough one. Love the idea of a dark border (with maybe a thin red flange or piping between the quilt and the border??). Thanks for sharing, flash or not.

I have a light burgandy border on it now, and will sew on a dark blue one later tonight or tomorrow and then I'll see if i have enough batting and quilt it. It is looking great tho I'm not fond of pinks. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

I was looking at your quilt and thinking how lovely it was.....then it struck me that it looked like alien eyes. It was so funny.... I scrolled down and saw someone else had posted my thoughts....we must have seen too many sci-fi movies. Great job!
