Hi Everyone

I went on a Bargello course on saturday With Jan Hassard here in the UK and here is the result.

I made it into a bed runner rather than a lap quilt but i hope you can still see the result i was aiming for, Jan did say that it might be too small width wise to show the true pattern but i think you can see it.

I've called it red hot passion

This is my first Bargello and i had trouble with some of my seams matching but i still love it.

Next problem how would you quilt it??? diagonal across the squares, straight stitch up and down ??

Any ideas .... don't forget i'm new to FMQ

I'd quilt it diagonal, following the flow of the colors. It's pretty!

No ideas on how to quilt it but it sure is pretty!

I love your runner. I'd probably do the diagonal quilting, but I wonder if an overall medium or large stipple might be an option.

That is how I have seen a couple done and they looked great. It's how I would want mine done whenever I make one!
