Our family reunion is this Saturday and I am making a signature quilt for my Mom. Would ya'll help me make up my mind on how I should place the strips? Sorry about the look of the pictures, hopefully you will get the idea. This is based on "Chinese Coins". White strips/white borders will be to sign on and borders will probably be 7 1/2" wide.

Of course when looking at the pictures I noticed I have corrections to make in the order of some strips. :?

Down the middle together?

Or separated by border?

I think it will be a lovely quilt. What a great thing to do for your Mom.
I like it with the white strips between the columns of signature blocks.

I like the white strip between because you can do some wonderful applique down the center. That is one of my favorite patterns.

I don't know. I like the border but I'm thinking maybe a smaller border? It's too spaced out.

I like the borders too. The idea of embroidery between the siggie rows would be really nice. You have a good idea for a birthday, reunion, etc!
