What is the line of fabrics? The quilt is beautiful.
What is the name of the Pattern??

MellieKQuilter 06-20-2011 03:32 PM

What about grids in the white spaces and stitch in the ditch around the colored designs?

The fabric is Canning Day by connecting threads......the pattern is from quilts and more fall 2009 Magazine. I think it's just churn dash blocks on point.

beautiful! i love the fabrics. to quilt it, i'd probably do crosshatching

It's beautiful!!!

Maybe something fun like diagonal stitching that goes across the white square in the middle.

Blue Bell 06-20-2011 05:18 PM

Your quilt is beautiful! I love it!

debcavan 06-20-2011 05:30 PM

It is so beautiful. Sorry no ideas on the quilting

sylviak 06-20-2011 05:37 PM

If you SID the diagonal seams, then the churn dash print, the smaller white areas will stand out like woven ribbons! I love your quilt! You might want to put a design in the setting triangles, then use that design in the white border. Are you going to go with a scrappy binding? It is just so pretty! I have two or three kits from Connecting Threads waiting for me, but I really like the Canning Day line.

I love your quilt. I don't have any suggestions on how to quilt it, that is always my biggest problem. Let us know what you decide to do.

quilterella 06-21-2011 02:39 AM

Beautiful quilt, I love the fabric choices. I think I would do some type of curvy thing one the Churn Dashes and then a small cross hatch everywhere else.

g'ville 06-21-2011 03:25 AM

I think I would quilt 1/4 " inside the colored edges and do a cross hatch on the whilte. Should make the colors pop.

Maggie_Sue 06-21-2011 05:07 AM

Love this quilt top, I am a beginner at quilting, so I will be waiting to see how you do this!
