of course, back when this was all the rage, i wasn't interested. but i made it recently for my daughter's teacher (she has an 'almost' 2 year old). i think she liked it . . . she cried when she opened it up . . . but didn't really say anything . . . hmmm. . .

I think it's wonderful that you made a quilt for the teacher. My mother taught 1st grade, and she really appreciated recognition from the parents.

Awww, what a sweet quilt! I bought some of that fabric and my kids are 17 and 15! But they both remember that book! I think your daughter's teacher was overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness. She will remember you guys fondly. Nothing like a handmade quilt to get the emotions going.

It is darling, I'm sure she loved it!

Very cute!

That is so cute and I am sure her 2 yr old will love it. She didn't even say thank you?

Your quilt certainly reflects his story and the colors he uses in his book. It is just wonderful.
