Here is a hydrangea wall hanging a I made. I recently painted my kitchen purple(almost eggplant). I looks really good. I love purple, it is my favorite. The pattern is from Petal Play. I cant remember the title. I don't know if you can tell from the picture but it is 3D.

It is the Nantucket Hydrangea Basket Pattern by Petal Play. The flowers are all 3D and sewn on individually with french knots. the basket is woven out of strips and sewn on. It is a really neat way it is made. Now that I have done one it would probably be easy to copy the other patterns on the site. I thought the directions were poor. Thanks for all the compliments.
