With the aid of my big soft bedpillow on my chair I was able to do some sewing. Got about 3 hours in and had to stop. All my square were cut, so I just sewed each block up, then sewed 4 blocks together. I think I did ok.. Whatcha think?

i love it to. I probably do it the hard way, but i cut everything out, sew all the hst, then put blocks together. its time consuming but it fun too. Just wish i coulda done more, but didn't want to over do it. Hopefully tomorrow i can get more sewn up. :D

Nice Job. Isn't it frustrating to not be able to sew for very long? I got in about 4 hours yesterday and over did it. I was hurting big time last night. I had a goal for yesterday I tried to reach, but shoulder said NO!!!! Sure hope you get better soon, and don't overdo it, it's not fun!!

Bev, I love your quilt you are working on. I know how you feel about the weight thing I was told the same thing by my doc.last month, he told me to walk and exercise more but when it causes more pain than you are already in you just don't feel like doing it.

gcathie 09-30-2008 08:24 PM

Bev....great job we all have to start somewhere and just keep adding till you get enough......and hope you get to feeling better.....seems like I have to take a pain pill just to get me started then I do pretty good....

Pam Pollock 09-30-2008 09:17 PM

Great Job Bev. It's going to be fun to see that quilt put together. You'll be there in no time if you keep up that pace.
