This started out as just a random design I was doodling as I was watching a movie with my girls. I decided I liked it well enough to make a wall hanging of it. The fabrics are a bit on the "wild side"~ I have my youngest daughter to thank for that... she helped me pick them out. :D

p.s.
I am not sure what is going on with the camera.... kind of blurry photos, and I can't seem to "clean them up". Sorry!

The backing is actually black, even though it looks blue. Hubby helped me come up with the quilting design. This is my first machine quilting attempt, and I am quite pleased with it.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments!! I am SOOOOOO glad I found this site ~ it is just what I have been needing!!

Patrice, for the cost of supplies, shipping, and a small fee, I would be happy to make one just for you. I don't think you really want to fight my daughter for this one... she is very tough and athletic.

Pretty! Love it! I have my own daughter to tackle, so I'll leave yours alone! Still, it would almost be worth it! That is one gorgeous original design. Be proud, but more importantly, MAKE MORE!

very nice, quilt designer in the making. Did you write down the pattern

cnolan 01-27-2008 07:53 PM

I still have the doodles, etc.... I am thinking I will eventually make more of them, maybe in more conservative colors. (I am thinking rich jewel tones with black for my next one..... if I ever get around to repeating it.) :)
