They are so easy you will enjoy making them. I also use them to practice FMQ as it is a smaller piece than a quilt.

supergma 01-13-2012 12:01 PM

Yes! I loved that tute too. Made one for my G'daughter. she loves it.

#1piecemaker 01-13-2012 12:04 PM

Quiltaddict 01-13-2012 02:00 PM

Yours came out so nice. What size fabric squares did you use? I want to make some but not sure how large they should be. Thanks.

Vivian Ketron 01-13-2012 02:30 PM

Those are very pretty. I think I will try those.

northern lass 01-13-2012 02:31 PM

Really nice carriers. Made a couple, but I like the idea of the D ring through the loop.

Nettie Phillips 01-13-2012 05:02 PM

Those are pretty and will make great gifts.

frugalfabrics 01-13-2012 05:27 PM

oh, what great gift ideas - they are beautiful

oksewglad 01-13-2012 05:32 PM

Thanks for sharing, Sunnie. These are almost too pretty to use! I haven't looked at the instructions, but could you take orphan blocks or any other UFO and use instead of the flat piece of cloth? Would help our UFO piles!!!

Tweety2911 01-13-2012 05:50 PM

Very pretty.

imdelagarza62 01-13-2012 06:04 PM

They are great and I love your choice of fabrics.

What a great idea. Once I get more Insul-Bright I can use up some of my orphan blocks ( I may need to add to them to get to 18" - 20"), but that is such a good idea. The ones I made so far are 18" square as that was all the Insul-Bright that I had on hand.

SueDor 01-13-2012 06:41 PM

Very cute!

I thought you'd have to make it bigger too. You could also make some crumb blocks (4) say 8" square with sashings and come up with a cute one too.

LETIA 01-13-2012 09:59 PM

Those are sew cute!!

mmonohon 01-13-2012 10:12 PM

I have wanted to make one of these for a while. Thanks for the inspiration. They look great.

kathdavis 01-13-2012 10:19 PM

On my to do list. Do you put Insul Bright batting in them?

Lorraine Simon 01-14-2012 03:54 AM
