This is the first quilt done on my new quilting frame. I haven't measured the size of it yet, lol.

Sew Krazy Girl 11-09-2010 06:18 PM

What a wonderful "heartland type quilt". Love your ingenuity.

tinkerfeet 11-09-2010 06:18 PM

Really nice quilt!!!!

T-Bones mom 11-09-2010 06:19 PM

I really like that. It looks like the pattern was made for the fabric.

KimmieH 11-09-2010 06:25 PM

Sheila Elaine 11-09-2010 06:27 PM

This quilt is so unique & I know you'll enjoy the new machine.

Norene B 11-09-2010 06:36 PM

Once I can get the Juki to like Star thread I'll have it made, lol.

Norene B 11-09-2010 06:37 PM

I made up my own pattern. I'm working on some of the simpler quilts until I get my quilting stitches a little better, then I'll start on my avatar.

littlehud 11-09-2010 06:41 PM

What a great quilt. I love all the fabrics you used. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Love the country look, and your avatar is beautiful, too. You do very good work!

quiltsRfun 11-09-2010 08:25 PM

How clever. I really like the design on this one. Reminds me of the fields on a farm - perfect for a tractor quilt.

sueisallaboutquilts 11-09-2010 08:52 PM

That is such a sweet quilt!! Very folksy :)

zzzGP 11-09-2010 10:25 PM

You did good!

Norene B 11-10-2010 04:15 AM

I'm just a country girl and love tractors, animals and all those those things. I have lots of floral fabrics but can never come up with ideas. I never seem to have that trouble with pheasant fabrics, or any of the wildlife or country scenes.

FortMyers 11-10-2010 04:19 AM

Very nice quilt!!!!

Lady-T 11-10-2010 04:27 AM

Great job!! Now if the tractors were only "orange" my DH would LOVE it!! (He's an Allis man!)

deebee 11-10-2010 04:42 AM

It should win first prize at a competition! Love the layout, your choice of fabrics, colors and quilting. Did I leave anything out??!

Coley Banicki 11-10-2010 05:02 AM

Norene B 11-10-2010 05:34 AM

I also have John Deere, am looking for the other color tractors also. I want to do a tractor/power show at Huron, SD in the spring. So making up pot holders, table runners, quilts and other small stuff.

Mariposa 11-10-2010 06:00 AM

Great job! Neat quilt!

Tippy 11-10-2010 06:49 AM

As a farmgirl, I LOVE your quilt.. but isn't the tractor the wrong color?? <giggles> yep.. I'm from a John Deere family..lol. dad worked for them for YEARS...

nativetexan 11-10-2010 07:53 AM

now that is really cool! was it a pattern or did you figure that out yourself?

sharone 11-10-2010 08:03 AM

Great quilt - love it!

paintedquilt 11-10-2010 08:25 AM

I really like the lay out :!:

Norene B 11-10-2010 08:26 AM

I made my own pattern. And went from there. It is very seldom I actually use a pattern although I'm using one for my Spicy Spiral Table Topper, lol.

Norene B 11-10-2010 08:27 AM

And by the way, another John Deere one is coming.
