I decided to attempt it because all I have been doing is working with strips and blocks and I decided it was time to branch out. :)

Exactly Melissa. I bought this book that has 100 full sized quilt blocks in it so I am going to try to make a few of them and see what happens.

i liked your comment about branching out - but I don't know if I am brave enough to branch out with diamonds and set in seams!! Way to GO!
