I have such a hard time with scrappy! ( I over think them) But this didn't turn out so bad!! But this was a planned scrapping.
Still can't do the other kind. |
You did scrappy very well! And the quilting is gorgeous!
That is a very soft scrappy. You have great balance.
Thank you. Putting Scrappy together usually gives me a headache...
I love your scrappy! Great colors!
It is beautiful...very serene :D :D :D
I know! Scrappy is so time consuming for me too- I move and move and move things! But they are my favorite quilts so it's worth the time.
Yours is beautiful. I love the colors. |
Beautiful! I love the colours! It is scrappyish - I think you're like me, have to have a bit of organisation in your scrappyness! LOL

My scrappy's have to be organized. I can't just take a bunch of scraps and do something with them. It's so bad!!
I really like this quilt. Great, soft colors. Did you do your own quilting? Looks great.
I'm not sure, whether I can do scrappy or not. I've never tried it and my stash leaves much to be desired. But yours turned out very very nice.
Ducky, I did my own quilting. I'm new at it. But I'm learning! I got a long arm a couple of weeks ago. And I'm loving it!!
Oh so very pretty. Love the quilt and the quilting is beautiful.

K x I USED TO SAY I DIDN'T CARE FOR SCRAPPY, THAT WAS BQB, before quilting board! |
Oh I love that -- planned scrappy or not!!
Someone once gave me this "pattern" for a scrappy quilt or I saw it on TV or whatever -- but it stuck in my mind: Cut your scraps into squares (any size you want). Put all squares into a paper bag and shake up. Pull one square out (without looking!) and then pull another out (don't look!) and sew together. Continue in this fashion and make your 9 patch or 12 patch or whatever and presto -- you have a scrappy quilt!! |
Very very pretty!!!

I really like your color choices, very nice. I over think too, and it drives me crazy. I think that's the reason I don't get new proj started and finished.
