I really like this. What is the name of the pattern? I could probably figure out how to make it from the picture, but I wouldn't mind finding and buying the pattern.

It is a free pattern at Craftsy.com and the name is 3D OP

DIA 02-08-2016 09:23 AM

Thanks to all the kind comments. It really is not that difficult, but I find it hard to write what I did.

nativetexan 02-08-2016 12:10 PM

Geta on this board makes these and sells patterns for them. lovely work.

RugosaB 02-08-2016 06:14 PM

I really liked this but had a bit of a problem finding the directions on Craftsy.
So, I did a google search of 3D OP and came up with this Craftsy page. I'm sending this in case anyone else is having the same problem.

I know it says 'thanks for purchasing', but I did not. It's free as the original poster said.

What a brave person to work with that.

A lovely finish.

Awesome quilt!

mary quilting 02-09-2016 01:25 PM

love it!!!!!!!

mjsylvstr 02-09-2016 05:18 PM

I did it........got it downloaded and also the directions..there are a few words in it that seem to be foreign even though it's translated into English. Now the job will be to get the translated text into the proper area on the pattern..
That's for LATER !!!!!!! but thanks so much for the information, appreciate it. Now to finish all that's on the cutting table so that I might be able to think about this 3D.......

Wow! You did it without a pattern! You've done a great job. I like the optical illusion. Will have to add this to my longggg list of projects!
