oh my - how funny. I have the same blocks - I started it a few years ago. All the blocks are done - but it is in the UFO pile. Hopefully it will be put together when I start on my ufo projects after the holiday.

It sure feels good finishing a UFO! Have a few more, albeit much smaller UFOs

I also plan on hand quilting mine. So I might have it done in the next 5 years.

All and all it turned out ok. It is still waiting for me to quilt it. Will post a picture when I get it quilted. I used stitch in the ditch for the quilting. It was real tough since it was so big fitting in my machine It was with all the help from the board that enabled me to finish. I would have never figure out how to bind the quilt, never mind get it squared. Silly me thought you just had to sew by following the instructions. |
