marscrafter 09-04-2011 02:32 PM

It looks really organized and I love the decorating!

Margot 09-04-2011 02:37 PM

It was great.
If I had more space, the objects would change places every week. I love to renew.

emmy 09-04-2011 03:20 PM

You must love walking into the room now and finding things. You did a super job.

Great job, I always get overwhelmed just thinking of doing that.

fred singer 09-04-2011 05:41 PM

wow I know how had you worked at this too.

A1penny 09-05-2011 02:55 AM

I do have a room dedicated to quilting.....carving, birding, beading, collecting, computer, etc., etc! In other words......a JUNK room! I keep trying to manage it, but things just keep piling up and up and UP!

I periodically do straighten things out, but unless I can detach from some of my hobbies and interests I'm going to be swamped?

As one gal asked.....are you out for hire? I really don't want to become like one of those horders on the TV shows!

Loved how you managed your space....great job!

yetta 09-05-2011 02:59 AM

you are so right about negative energy...I don't know where to start organizing my space...you did a fabulous job...well done...when can you come visit me....

orangeroom 09-05-2011 03:04 AM

Nice job! What a difference! You moved the shelving unit! That opened up a lot of space for you! No more negative energy.

Recently I reorganized my fabric cabinet. Took me all day. It was during my recovery and was well worth the time and effort!

sapdoggie 09-05-2011 03:05 AM

Great job

Looks like you could have a second job as an organizer

Then, you could buy more stuff :) :) :)

looks good

laalaaquilter 09-05-2011 04:51 AM

Beautiful!

FYI, that ain't a hutch, doll. It's a dry sink, and it is GORGEOUS. Great antique you've got there.

My sewing area is the dining room and if we don't get busy having people over for meals I'm going to get rid off all the entertaining stuff and start using the sideboard for sewing storage. Thanks for the idea!

sheliab12 09-05-2011 04:57 AM

The problem with this new clean space is (I do this too that is why I know) it looks so good and it took so long but once you start a project it is messy all over again. Sometimes I don't sew because I can't stand the mess again

Bonbonary 09-05-2011 05:00 AM

Looks great. Love that hutch!

AprilG 09-05-2011 05:16 AM

I'm working on my room now. I love your antique wash stand. I have an antique dresser in my room for some of my stash! I also have 3 of those flat plastic underbed storage units filled with fabric and 2 of the plastic (see thru) 3 drawer units filled with scraps. Oh yes, a whole closet with hanging fabrics. The yardage pieces get hung on those pants/skirt hangers with clips. Just hang them up on the rod and you have "shopping" at a glance.

doll-lady 09-05-2011 05:18 AM

you did your fall cleaning early.

kateyb 09-05-2011 05:31 AM

I used to have to have my sewing in the livingroom, so I understand the need to have a good workable space in a small area. Good job.

chickadee_42us 09-05-2011 05:34 AM

congratulations - nice looking room. Hope you find an inclination to get sewing!

purrfectquilts 09-05-2011 05:40 AM

Your room looks great.

jquilts75 09-05-2011 06:52 AM

  Very nice, love the hutch with the garland & lights, very relaxing. Hope you can remember where you put everything, I sometimes can't find things after cleaning up, not old but too much in the brain. Enjoy your beautiful job. You've given me energy, I might work on my space too. Thanks for sharing
