Such a lovely sampler ! :-D
Nice Work.
I love the layout! So often the small block prints are set individually with sashing. This is so much better.
beautiful
That is beautiful. I have read all those books and just love them.
your quilt is lovely. I have the book, good idea about a block of the month idea. thanks for sharing.
Wow. That is so impressive. I don't think I would have been brave enough to even try such a huge project. It turned out wonderful, and the label is a great idea with the block names.
That is a real beauty. What a great way to initiate into the more complex pattern blocks. Your daughter did a great job on the label.
great quilt. I love those books too.
nice job...I love those novels also
What a fun quilt! You learned, and we get to see! Great job on this! :)
Love the quilt and the way you set the blocks. It's beautiful!
It's a beautiful quilt and I love the back. I will remember your label idea when I do some samplers.
You did a fantastic job! You should be proud of yourself for trying such a complicated quilt. There will be no holding you back now! Go for it.
Stunning! You did a great job on this.
I'd be happy with the way it turned out, too. It's absolutely stunning!!! I'm a fan of Jennifer Chiaverini, too!

I wanted to set mine on point. DD played with layout for me on EQ & this is how it ended up with 82 blocks on the front. I wanted a list of what blocks were placed where, so DD again came to the rescue designing for me & printing on Printed Treasures. The label, extra blocks & block layout page were used on the back. great, great job. especially the layout. very ingenious. Some of the blocks were a real challenge for me, but I learned so much & became a better quilter in the process. I never would have attempted the Sampler on my own. Choosing fabrics would have driven DD nuts listening to me tryin to decide  . The blocks were given to us in order from easy to more difficult--a great way to learn & not get discouraged by the harder ones. I've pretty happy with the way "I Envy Sylvia" turned out. Now, I hope I can attach the pictures. If I can't, I'll have DD do it the next time she's over--probably next weekend. Yeah, I did it--1st time posting a picture. |
