Thank you for your kind words. We almost got an assignment to Norway. (My husband is in the US Air Force). It was between Norway and Florida. I don't know. Right now, Florida was more appealing since we've been shoveling snow every winter for the last four years. LOL!

If ever we are near Oslo, we definitely should find time to sew and quilt, together. I would love to come to Norway for a visit.

by golly, I think anybody that can do something this spectacular in 60 hours, will certainly fill a houseful of rooms, with more quilty love. That is an admirable goal, and I dream about it,...but dreaming is a specialty of mine, it seems. One of these days... :D

AkAngel 05-25-2009 06:05 AM

LOVE that! STUNNING! I could name 10 people right off the top of my head that would LOVE to get a quilt like that.

You did a beautiful job. What's even better, you graciously shared the name of the pattern and who sells the pattern. How kind of you to share that.

The colors you chose are just wonderful. Everything about that quilt is awesome.

Thank you so much for sharing this.

Quiltin'Lady 05-27-2009 01:52 PM

Lisa,

This is just stunning! I LOVE houses in quilts and you've done them so beautifully!

I'm also impressed by your timeline -- I made a baby quilt of somewhat comparable complexity and it took me six months! I can't imagine something this large in that short a time!

Well done!!

tigerlily11 05-27-2009 02:14 PM

Love the pattern and colors. You'll love that in your new home. Also, just a side note: love the quote on your space.
