Your shouldn't be ashamed to post this. This looks like you have been piecing for years. You should be very proud of your work.

Sweet! That was a very complicated pattern. You rocked it right out. My first was s nine patch. second a churn dash. So, it appears you like challanges. Go for it.
I'm a nurse too.

wvdek:

Yes I have been a nurse for about 33 years. I was an LPN for 25 years before I decided to return to school for my Associates degree RN. Things just seemed to keep rolling and in December of last year I completed my Masters Degree in Community Health nursing.

I too am 54 and am so excited that you are studying to become a nurse. I was a clinical instructor for LPN and AD RN's for about 2 years, and I found the more mature students were my favorites...so committed, rarely whined or complained (at least to me  ) Work on that math and I am sure you will get it. Simple algebra helps you figure dosages and you will need that as an LPN. In our area that is sufficient for the AD, with statistics needed for the BSN. Hang in there! You go girl!

Thanks for you support everyone! I really thought hard before posting a pic. Now I now I don't need to worry. Everyone is so encouraging.

Wichypoo, I have found that a lot of nurses are quilters too. Two of the LQS are owned by nurses. As I heard over and over as I visited quilting shops across the nation (12 quilt shops in 9 states, 16 days, CA to PA) on my vacation: "It's cheaper than therapy session!: lol
