right here in my house! I was doing good till she showed up to watch! Then i got so worried that she was going to attack the needle that I got all messed up. She's obviously NOT happy with my work!

Awwww, at least your quilt police is cute!! :) :)
|
That is the cutest little police woman I have ever seen. LOL
|
She is inspecting if it's soft enough!
|
LOL Bribe her with a treat and maybe she won't be too harsh with her criticism.

They came by yesterday here too! The thread apparently was NOT in the right spot and needed readjusting on my machine and also I apparently was cutting out my strips for my OBW in the wrong direction so the police shut me down. They put their feet down right ontop of my project and finally they had a sit in to insure I stopped immediately.

Cute. Maybe she is an attention hog
|
Mine plays with threads tails as I sew. Yesterday she sat there and watched the thread spin on the spindle. Made me nervous, never know when she was going to strike.

no, not the QP. QP are the ones that tell you that things should be a certain way or your not doing this right or that right or your only a real quilter if you ________ fill in the blank with whatever ridiculous criteria they come with.
What you have here is a quilt inspector. Inspectors have a very critical job of ensuring your quilt is of the upmost quilty comfort and have just the right amount of love stitched in. They never correct, offer unneeded advice or dismiss your efforts. On the rare occasion an inspector discovers a problem you will know by their obvious lack of interest. I have never heard of that happening though. BTW your inspector is very cute, she or he looks to be in training right now. How old? |
Love the Kitty!

Thanks for sharing the pic with us  |
Last night I was cutting and some selvedges were hanging off the table. My cat Sonia went nuts!! hahaha
|
Miss Daisy is about 13 weeks old we think....we got her the week before Christmas and was told she was 8 weeks old. That was not the truth! We think she was maybe 5 weeks. We had to put her on kitten formula for several weeks and nurse her along. Its been a long time since we've had a kitten and I just didn't realize how young she was. Our other cat Ninja took right to her and is teaching her all about being a cat though. Miss Ninja though only comes in to inspect when i am not working.

Awwww! She is the cutest little cop! :D
|
Serious investigation going on here. Looks as if he has found the problem
|
 Your quilt police is adorable. Makes me want to reach through the screen and pet her/him.

|
Mine sews, knits and crochet with me since a long time, but she got a new habit, she lays next to the computer and wags her tail in front of the screen, I used to call her Peaches, now it is Nightmare.

So cute. My son is my quilt police. He comes in and tells me all the time he doesn't like this or that when I put colors together. It is kind of funny. I am turning the tables on him because he wants to make a quilt for his teacher for Valentine's Day. I am going to let him loose in my stash and see what he comes up with. He is going to have to help me sew it too. he he.
