Rhonda, what a lucky girl you are. Your pillow shams remind me very much of the kind of traditional sewing I found in Thailand. At the time, I was only able to buy a few small samples that I thing were pocket flaps originally, and I had them framed. Everyone who sees them admires the skill that it took to make them.

They are wonderfully crafted and time consuming, but well worth the effort. Doing this help my applicaing skills tremendously and it makes me very appreciative of the family's like Cha Mee's that help our soldiers in Vietnam.
