I bought some fabric there, thinking it was unique to Alaska. I found out, however, that they had the same stuff in Walmart in the lower 48 states! Rita
I have a friend who spend quite a bit of time in S. Africa. She, too, wanted some fabric to remind her of the place she had fallen in love with. After a long and arduous excursion to find this fabric, she bought some. Not until she returned home to the states did she notice "Printed in the USA" on the selvage... :lol:

Barbm - I am toying with the idea of doing a landscape wallhanging using the front cover of the book as inspiration..... WHEN I finish my big project:D :D :D
