I was getting a little bug eyed stipple quilting my Baltimore Halloween quilt so I took a break and tried quilting this scarecrow top I had lying around. I machine quilted acorns and oak leaves over the scrappy squares- I am so new to machine quilting I figured most of the mistakes would be hidden and if it was a little rough and raggedy - well that's what scarecrows are

Love this one too!! I think the quilting works really well on it.
I hope you post pics of your Baltimore Halloween quilt. I have been really wanting to make that one, but I just can’t justify the cost of the pattern right now :( But I do love looking at pictures of it! Cheers! Rachel |
What can I say...LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. Yep, I do.

How cute!! This made me think of our neighbors down the road who had a wedding at their little farm. They dressed up two scarecrows in a suit and wedding dress and had them by their garden. It was really cute!

What a great fall quilt. Nice way to use small pieces of leftover fabrics, too.

Great quilt! The scarecrows are just in time for fall. I am sure your quilting is wonderful too!
