and with the cathedral window also.block is not pressed yet-ignore the wrinkles

It look great!

I keep thinking if someone made the outside squares smaller those 10 minute blocks would really be a good way to cheat yourself a cathedral window.

RkayD 05-24-2011 10:47 AM

how did you do that?

make a 10 min block then cut a square just a bit smaller than the center square, roll over the edges and pin, then sew them down.

dakotamaid 05-24-2011 11:10 AM

That is awesome. And done in those jewel tones, wow.:)

Sewfine 05-24-2011 11:17 AM

That is neat. Did it take you 10 minutes.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. :)

Sandygirl 05-26-2011 05:36 AM

I am wondering if you use a "fusible" to keep that center block/fabric in place? Not sure how it holds up in washing. I guess machine stitching ...for me...would secure it.

since it folded I am not sure how to get the fusible in there-unless little strips after block is made.
