but DD and DGD love purple, so here is DGDs quilt for her first bed (not crib). She got a matching canopy, curtains, sham, and throw pillows. Someone (sorry, I forgot who) ran a tute on Churn Dash a short time ago, so a couple of the pillows have that pattern - thanks for the tute. Thanks to all the good info here, this is my best quilt yet. From an Attic Windows pattern, I call this quilt Butterfly Shadows.

The room is darling. Remember we used to be little too. I loved purple when I was in high school, a million years ago, now my 10 yr. old DGD loves purple. I still like purple, just not in my decorating. Purple goes good with my white hair. LOL
