Yes, since you are planning on using it for the lining, it will be pretty easy. Normally you would use a long stitch length to keep the perforations at a minimum. You will also need a teflon or roller foot or put tissue paper on top and underneath as you sew so the plastic doesn't grab the foot or plate.
