There are all kinds of amazing quilts here - and lots of free mind boggling patterns!

Thanks for the link! I've printed off a copy, I will be enlarging it also, way too wee for me. Of course some of the other free patterns caught my eye too.....oh no, more UFO's.

Superb job! I have a pattern for something somewhat similiar on my bucket list. The one I have is a paper pieced pattern. Still mulling over in my mind how to deal with keeping all the pieces in order. How did you go about it?

I just finished removing the paper from the back of one of these. I also have the pieces parts finished for a second one that I need to sew together. I did not increase the size on mine. I was going to use it for a candle mat but decided to make three of them and put together for a table runner. Will take picture when I am able. As far as keeping the colors in order I wrote the color on the paper pieced pattern for each piece (didn't take long) before I sewed anything. I also put each color in a baggy with the color name on it. Just need a little patience.

Wow. Great quilt. Good job.

hrjenn 04-16-2013 06:38 AM

I have made 5 of these. One was large for the center of the quilt and 4 smaller for the corners. They were fun to make. Daughter is sewing the center circles for me. I hope to have them soon to finish this.

BuzzinBumble 04-16-2013 07:36 AM

That is astonishing! It would be mind boggling in king size, but 18 inches (or 12) is all the more amazing. Yeah... You are crazy, but in the best way!
