I painted my livingroom last month and haven't found pictures that were right. After reading some great ideas here for displaying quilts I bit the bullit and hung 2 curtain rods in my livingroom for quilts. These were both vintage quit tops that I put together and quilted. My mom always said "use what you have". :thumbup: :thumbup:

I like that! My mom, sister, and I have done that in our homes. I also have mini quilts handing on the walls in the hallway. I like your quilts!

Those curtain rods were a great idea. They add to the vintage look of the quilts. You have a good eye for decorating.

I have a wood shelf with a dowel rod waiting to be put up in my family room. I think I will do this soon seeing how nice yours looks.

I have a Quilt hanging in my livingroom too on a curtain rod...make the room look so much cozier than a picture.

Really, really nice. I think it makes a home look so so much more comfortable. I will be remodeling a bit around here soon and hope to make quilts for certain key spots. Be proud of your work and enjoy it !!!

Your quilts are beautiful and they look beautiful on your wall.

Curtain rods are wonderful things.. I use one with pretty decorative finials in the bathroom for a towel bar. Your wall decorations look lovely!!

They look very pretty on display Quilts do add to the warmth of the room. (not a pun) My DH made me a shelf with quilt hanger under it. I hang smaller ones in any bare space I can find. (I use stapler)
